This community session at 18 Stoke Newington in London covers brand partnerships. It teaches attendees how to pitch and determine charges to move from unpaid work to paid partnerships. Tickets are listed as free.
Learn how to pitch & what to charge - move from unpaid, gifted work to partnerships that genuinely pay.
So many of us start out saying yes to gifted collaborations and quietly wondering when, or how, it turns into actual income. This session is about closing that gap.
Join Shakila, founder of The Mère Collective & Mère + Me, for an honest, practical conversation about brand partnerships. Before starting her business, Shakila spent years in sales and partnerships at a publishing house behind magazines like BBC Good Food, Radio Times and Gardeners' World, so she knows how these deals really get made, from both sides of the table.
Together we'll look at how to find the right brands, build a simple pipeline, and ask with confidence, including how to move from unpaid, gifted work to partnerships that genuinely pay. You'll leave knowing how to pitch, what to charge, and how to build the kind of relationships that grow with you.
Come as you are, bring your questions, and let's get comfortable asking for what we're worth.
