Join like-minded businesses to network and improve your marketing, in the first of the workshop series: Marketing Strategy on a Page.

Running a business can be very rewarding — but it can also be isolating.

The Networking and Marketing Workshops are ideal to connect with other businesses and improve your marketing.

The workshops are designed as a series that cover different areas of marketing. We start with the foundation, Marketing Strategy on A Page (workshop 1) which will give participants the tools and understanding of having marketing efforts structured and strategised in one page.

The second workshop is on Brand and Messaging (workshop 2) where we will look at what is a brand, how to have a great foundation for yours and how to create messaging that works for you and your audience.

The third workshop covers website and SEO (workshop 3) and the fundamentals of how people can find you when they search and how you can increase your chances of being found.

The fourth workshop is on Social Media (workshop 4) and on how to have a strategy for your socials that doesn't mean overposting, or oversharing but having solid foundations (clear brand and messaging) that you can use every time.

The fifth workshop covers Email Marketing (workshop 5) and how a simple welcome sequence and how to keep up your contacts and keep them in the loop can massively help your reach.

The sixth and final workshop will be on Partnerships (workshop 6) and how to create an ecosystem around your business and brand that sees partnerships develop and helps extend your reach beyond your own channels.

At the end of the six workshops, I will share with you a final marketing playbook that has all six elements included that you can make yours and use for your business.

The Marketing Strategy on a Page is based on the book by Allan Dibs, One Page Marketing Plan which is a great format to have all your marketing aspects in one page.

A bit of background

The workshops will be facilitated by Laura Shimili Mears, photographer, marketer and business mentor. My role in facilitating the workshops is to guide, keep the conversation focused, and create a space where everyone can share and learn.
