About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. It combines a guided visit inside the Globe Theatre with time in a new walk-through exhibition space, offering a clear look at Shakespeare’s London, the theatre’s stagecraft and the story behind the building itself.

The exhibition space includes seasonally curated displays, and there are interactive costumes and props for visitors to explore. Inside the Globe Theatre, expert Guides explain how the original 1599 theatre survived plague, fire and political oppression, and how it was rebuilt in the 1990s as part of one man’s vision.

The tour also reflects the theatre’s long history and the crowds that once gathered there to see the leading actors of the day.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. All tours are in English.
