About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. It combines a guided visit through the Globe Theatre with time in a new walk-through exhibition space, designed to explore more than 400 years of Shakespeare’s London and the history of the theatre.

Expert guides explain the story of the Globe’s wooden ‘O’, from the original 1599 theatre to its revival in the 1990s. The exhibition includes seasonally curated displays, with interactive costumes and props for visitors to explore. Information sheets are available in a number of languages, and all tours are in English.

The tour is suitable for all ages. As the theatre is open-air, tours go ahead in all conditions, so visitors should dress for the weather.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.
