About Hamilton

Hamilton is the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today.

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the show blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway. It is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton, the production tells the story of America then, as told by America now.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is suitable for ages 10+. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre, and children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder aged 18 or over.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed.
