About Hamilton

Hamilton tells the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today.

The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway. Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Based on Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton, the show presents the story of America then, as told by America now.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15-minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton is suitable for ages 10+ because it contains some strong language. Children under 16 must be accompanied by, and seated next to, a ticketholder aged 18 or over. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre, and children under 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
