About Hamilton

Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of America. The production uses hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway styles to retell that history.

Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. It is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton, the show brings a historical story to the stage in a contemporary musical form.

Before you book

Hamilton is appropriate for ages 10+ because it contains some strong language. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance into the performance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
