About Harry Potter and The Cursed Child

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre is a play based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. First staged in London’s West End in summer 2016, it is described as the most awarded play in history and won a record-breaking nine Olivier Awards in 2017, including Best New Play and Best Director.

Set 19 years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world, the story follows the trio alongside a new generation at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It includes spells, time travel and an attempt to stop mysterious forces while Harry and his youngest son, Albus, confront a family legacy.
