About High School Musical

High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s High School Musical became a global sensation. This new production follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they juggle first love, friendships, self-discovery, classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

Co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, the production uses extended staging and on-stage seating to place the audience close to the action. The book is by David Simpatico, with music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle, and it features the original movie songs including Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.
