About Hamilton Hamilton is a musical about America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, telling the story of America then as told by America now. Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. The production is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton. Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval. Before you book Hamilton contains some strong language and is appropriate for ages 10+. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old.
