About Hamilton

Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States. Its score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, presenting the story of America then, as told by America now.

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. It is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is appropriate for ages 10+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds after purchase.
