About Hamilton

Hamilton at 79 Victoria Street, London, tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States. The show is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Hamilton.

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, with direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton presents the story through a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is recommended for ages 10+. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old, and everyone attending must have their own ticket.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and entry cannot be guaranteed. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable after purchase.
