About Hamilton

Hamilton is performed at 79 Victoria Street, London. It tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States.

The show’s score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway. It has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton, the production presents the story of America then, as told by America now.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is recommended for ages 10+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sit next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old, and children under 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
