About Into The Woods

Into The Woods transfers to the West End at 85-88 St Martin's Lane, London. Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical follows the Baker and his wife, a Witch with a curse, a boy and his cow, a girl in a red cloak, a maiden with long flowing hair and a servant covered in cinders as they journey deep into the woods.

Directed by Jordan Fein, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, this production comes fresh from a critically acclaimed run at The Bridge Theatre. It has been described by The Times as “stunning” and by The Standard as “a triumphant musical mash-up of fairytales”.

As the adventure unfolds, wishes are made, slippers are lost, beanstalks take flight and new friendships are forged, revealing what lies beyond “Happily ever after”.
