About Hamilton

Hamilton at 79 Victoria Street, London is a musical about Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway influences.

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is suitable for ages 10 and over. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sit next to a ticketholder aged 18 or over.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, although admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
