About High School Musical

High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL became a global sensation. This new production arrives with extended staging and on-stage seating, designed to place audiences in the middle of East High.

The show follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they navigate first love, friendship and self-discovery alongside classes, basketball games, auditions and peer expectations. It features the songs from the original film, including Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Harry Judd of McFly appears as Coach Bolton, with original film cast member KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus. The production is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, a book by David Simpatico and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle.
