About High School Musical

High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s High School Musical became a global sensation. The show follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they balance first love, friendships, self-discovery, classes, basketball games, auditions and peer pressure.

This new production stars Harry Judd (McFly) as Coach Bolton and original High School Musical film cast member KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus. It also features Tobias Turley, Leonor Correia, Caitlin Tipping and Luke Bayer as Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay and Ryan, with co-direction by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton and choreography by Aaron Renfree.

The production uses extended staging and on-stage seating to place the audience within the East High setting, and includes songs from the original movie such as Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Key facts: Suitable for ages 6+. Signed/Captioned performance: Wednesday 11th November, 7:30pm. Audio Described performance: Wednesday 18th November, 7:30pm.
