# 🏔️ SNOWDONIA WEEKEND ADVENTURE ## Mount Snowdon • Mountains • Lakes • Wales ### ⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING This event is advertised across **4 Meetup groups**, so additional people may attend from the other meetup groups. We have booked **only 10 hostel beds** — 5 female + 5 male. Private exclusive shared dorms only for our group. We have booked absolutely the best Hostel in all of Snowdonia for this hike. The hostel is family run and very clean and welcoming. The hike up mount Snowdon starts from the doorstep of the hostel. Also the way up and down to Mount Snowdon on Saturday is the most scenic and most picturesque route available compared to the other 7 routes available. The organiser has over 20 years experience organising group hiking events in North Wales. So we have selected the best routes up and down the mountain and booked the absolute best hostel in all of Wales for this event. *** # 🏔️ SATURDAY — MOUNT SNOWDON Our main challenge is **Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales at 1,085m.** 📍 Start: **Approximately 9:00am directly from the hostel** 📏 **4.5 miles up + 4.5 miles down = 9 to 10 miles total.** ⏱️ Approximately **8 hours including breaks** 💪 **Demanding mountain hike** Expect steep climbs, rocky and uneven mountain terrain and changing weather. **This is NOT a beginner's hike.** Previous long-distance or mountain hiking experience is recommended.
