Mercury Prize-nominated pianist Joe Webb returns to Kings Place with his acclaimed project 7-A- Side for a special evening showcasing some of the finest musicians on London’s thriving jazz scene.

Joe Webb is regarded as one of the most formidable new jazz pianists to emerge in recent years – a musician with fearless technique, unmistakable swagger and a melodic instinct that lands with clarity and purpose. His ascent has been driven by genuine acclaim, commanding live performances and support from figures such as Wynton Marsalis, Gilles Peterson, Jools Holland and Jamie Cullum, further amplified by his 2025 Mercury Prize shortlist for Hamstrings & Hurricanes.

Following Joe’s sold-out show at Kings Place in May 2026, he returns with a slightly different programme that puts the spotlight on some of the best talent on the London jazz scene. Still flanked by his long-term collaborators Will Sach (double bass) and Sam Jesson (drums), Joe will be joined by guest horn players to perform brand-new music written especially for this programme.

This event will last for approximately 90 minutes, without an interval.
