About This Event

Participants can join the litter picking group on Wednesday mornings. The meeting point is specified as The Hut in Ruskin Park. Volunteers are encouraged to help maintain the park's cleanliness during this session.

<p class='p3'>Join our small friendly group of volunteers on Wednesday mornings and help care for the park. We meet at 10am at The Hut in Ruskin Park, in the Willow Garden near to the Denmark Hill entrance.</p> <p class='p3'>This is a great way to stretch your legs, meet some neighbours and help tidy up the park.  We finish at 11am for a cuppa and a chat in the garden.</p> <p class='p3'>Please read our <a href='https://www.friendsofruskinpark.org.uk/helping-during-the-covid-19-restrictions/'>guidance on safety</a> before attending for the first time. No experience is needed and all equipment is provided. There is no need to book, but please email <a href='mailto:volunteering@friendsofruskinpark.org.uk'>volunteering@friendsofruskinpark.org.uk</a> if you have any questions.</p>
