About Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre, Aldwych, London, is the West End musical built around ABBA’s timeless songs. It tells the story of a mother, her daughter and three possible fathers on a Greek island, combining the songs with a comedy storyline.

Since premiering in London’s West End over 25 years ago, the show has been seen by over 70 million people around the world. It has also been turned into two record-breaking films, MAMMA MIA! and MAMMA MIA! Here We Go Again.

Whatever age you are, the production offers a familiar set of songs and a clear story, making it easy to follow for first-time visitors and returning audiences alike.

Key facts: Running time is 2 hours 35 minutes including one interval. Performances are Monday to Saturday at 7.45pm, with Thursday and Saturday matinees at 3.00pm.

This production contains flashing lights. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticket-holder who is at least 18 years old. Children under 3 will not be admitted.
