Join us this August for our latest family membership event.
Get ready to take a deep dive into our new family guidebook before getting stuck into a creative activity. In August we will be visiting some behind the scenes locations before heading back to the learning centre to create your own Grinling Gibbons inspired cupid artwork.
This session is designed for children and adults to take part in together; children must be always accompanied by an adult during the session and it is best suited for children aged 7-11.
What to expect on the day:
10.15-10.30: Arrival and Welcome
Please arrive between 10.15 and 10.30 via the Northwest Crypt Entrance. You’ll be greeted by a friendly member of our learning team and have time to take part in some welcome activities as get ready to start exploring. Please bring your membership card along.
10.30-11.15: Family Tour
Enjoy an interactive family tour with our Learning Team, who knows what you will discover?
11.15-11.45: Creative Activity
Head back to the learning centre for a creative craft activity, inspired by Grinling Gibbons and the beautiful cupids in the Quire.
11.45-12.00: Session ends.
Time to say goodbye! Feel free to explore the cathedral together after the session or pop into the café for a bite to eat.
Please note, you must book a place for everyone in your party, both children and adults. One adult may bring no more than four children.
