About This Event

George Nelson's award-winning gig series is a London Jazz scene must-see having featured the likes of Saul Williams, Kae Tempest & Shabaka. Moment's Notice is unique in that the five participating musicians have no previous history of improvising with one another. Combos are divided into a duo and a trio. Each plays a fully-improvised, c35-minute set. The five musicians then combine for a quintet finale. Line-ups are curated by event founder George Nelson, author of London jazz photobook 'Scenes'. Moment's Notice: Episode Nine, Season Six features: TRIO: Tony Kofi (saxes) Cherise (voice) Kienou Seydou (djembe) DUO: Tereza Catarov (voice) Bruno Heinen (piano) Event Creator, Curator & Host: George Nelson
