About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London, brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a musical adaptation directed by Tony Award® winner Alex Timbers. It is described as a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love, set in a world of splendour, romance, glitz and grandeur.

The production combines a book by Tony Award® winner John Logan with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award® winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award® winner Sonya Tayeh. It is presented as a new musical mash-up extravaganza.

Suitable for ages 12 years and older. Please note that strobe lighting is used in the show.

For matinee performances, the venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. For evening performances, the venue opens 105 minutes before the start time. Please arrive by 30 minutes before the start time, as latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
