About Moulin Rouge! The Musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage as a musical adaptation of his story. Directed by Tony Award® winner Alex Timbers, it has a book by Tony Award® winner John Logan, with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award® winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award® winner Sonya Tayeh. Set in a world of splendour and romance, the show places Bohemians and aristocrats side by side in a story that celebrates Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.
