“NeuroDANCEvergent,” a neuroinclusive dance workshop using creative movement to explore self-understanding, regulation, resilience and agency.

We’ll investigate sensory profiles, exploring strengths-based, supportive and empowering movement that shows how proprioceptive and vestibular strategies improve regulation and attention. We will build community, belonging and access with informed tools transferable to daily life.

3.00-3.30pm | Preparation - COVID testing, masking, and sensory table

3.30–5.00pm | NeuroDANCEvergent Movement Workshop

5.00–6.00pm | NeuroDANCEvergent Optional Community Conversation and Resting space (Open Space)

It can be a space of resting and listening, it is a come as you are, be as you need space, meaning you can leave at any time, take breaks and rest as you need, stim, and meet your sensory needs.

We will be supported by We Are Sensoria’s sensory inventory including stim toys, sensory protections, masks and covid tests. If you can test before the event and bring your own K95 and FFP level filtration mask, please do. We will also have an air purifier in the space.

All proceeds of tickets will go to Ele Elna Elak - a volunteer-driven initiative dedicated to supporting Palestinian families in need. They have built multiple water desalination plants in Gaza and are currently running summer schools for children who have missed out on many years of schooling due to the Genocide.
