Reid Anderson is a songwriter from Liverpool. His music is a mix of dark and light melodic folk; Americana mixed with flavours of the 50s and 60s. Dark ballads of love, loss and human connection. Imagine ‘The Wicker Man’ soundtrack written by Nick Cave, or an episode of The Twilight Zone soundtracked by Leonard Cohen and Roy Orbison.

“We adore the addictive melodies, inviting vocal performances and excellent musicianship. Reid Anderson is an artist who is destined for big things this Autumn.” - FV Music Blog

“Reid’s voice is rich and resonant. Imagine a waltz being played by a lone musician under a big top in a well-travelled circus that’s seen much better days. A true pleasure.” - Liverpool Acoustic

“We’re hugely impressed by Reid. The opening slot at the Night and Day isn’t probably as suited to him as it could be, we’d imagine him right at home in a dark dimly-lit bar where he has the time and space to expand on his stories behind the songs.” - Even The Stars

“As others give us some nice beats, licks and tricks, Anderson gives us emotions, soul and melody... and boy does Anderson always give us beautiful melodies. It’s something that seems to have been ingrained in Liverpool’s musical output.” - Rattler Magazine
