reviews of Scarecrow People's debut single, " A Dirty Heart"
“Heard the first track. Bloody fantastic. A strange eerie mix of Japan and Jazz. I can't wait for the public to hear the tracks” - Mik Scarlet, journalist/broadcaster
“Reminds me a bit of the wonderful Mariane Faithfull” - Chas Hines, singer, Bona Rays
“Wow what a voice. Very gothic in the literal sense. An atmospheric and cinematic track that lives in a similar world to Aloha Dead. The sound perfectly matches the image you've created in the photos and the band name which is genius” - Crispin Coulson, MetroGlow, electronic composer
“Stunning! I loved everything. Diane's warm vocals and superb interpretation, those guitars so cleverly placed in the background, almost resembling a synth and reminding me somehow of Bowie's Low album. Very good in my opinion and totally original....” Denise DeltaUnit, singer/compose
