About The Producer

From the first mention of the estate in the Domesday Book in 1086 and the planting of their first vines in 1988, Nyetimber have gone on to achieve global acclaim for their English sparkling wines. With several sites across the greensand and chalk soils of Sussex, Hampshire and Kent, they make a range of vintage and NV sparkling wines. These are known for their signature balance and elegance, as well as for regularly beating Champagne in blind tastings.

In 2025, Nyetimber’s Blanc de Blancs Magnum 2016 become the first non-Champagne wine to win the coveted Champion Sparkling Wine Trophy at the International Wine Challenge. Adding to this triumph, that year their head winemaker Cherie Sprigs was awarded Sparkling Winemaker of the Year for the second time. When Cherie won the award for the first time in 2018, she was the first ever winemaker outside the Champagne region to win - and remains the only woman ever to have done so.
