Relevant Opera presents Opera by Candlelight 'Vino e Voce' to Fulham; an evening that pairs three wines with the vocal repertoire of the countries that made them. Beginning with a crisp Pfalz Riesling and German song from Mozart, Schumann and Schubert, the evening moves through an elegant Burgundy Pinot Noir alongside French opera from Bizet, Massenet, Delibes and Poulenc, before closing with a full-bodied Piedmont Nebbiolo and a run of Italian favourites from Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and the Neapolitan song tradition. Two sopranos and a tenor perform across the night, with each wine poured to match the character of the music that follows it: light and aromatic through to powerful and full-bodied. The evening closes with the Brindisi from Verdi's La Traviata, when the audience is invited to raise a glass and join in. This event is 18+ only. Tickets are £55 and include three live opera performances and three curated wine pairings. Doors open at 7.30pm Show starts at 8pm Why not join us for some food and drink before?
