About Paddington The Musical

Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre brings one of Britain’s best-loved characters to the stage. This new production follows a small, lost bear from Peru as he arrives in London and finds himself welcomed by the Brown family in Windsor Gardens.

The story shows what happens when Paddington’s life is put in peril and the Browns must decide how far they are willing to go to give him a home. The show is based on the characters from Michael Bond’s books and the award-winning films, with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and a book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale.

It is presented as a musical with songs and choreography, and the setting moves from the hope of a new start to the challenges beneath the surface of family life in London.

Key facts: Duration 2 hours 45 minutes. Age guidance: recommended for ages 6 and up; guests aged 4 to 104 are welcome. Babes in arms are not permitted.
