Come to ReActon to learn how to mend your clothes with Ealing repair cafe. Bring 1-2 items.
All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance, there’s always something new to share or learn. We will have patching and darning guides, sewing equipment, scrap fabric for patching, zip kit, mending books and samples to inspire you.
For mending sessions, bring 1-2 items of clothing or textiles that need mending for helpful suggestions from our sewing tutors. We will offer advice and teach you how to mend it.
All ages can also make a free t-shirt yarn bracelet or keycharm. Made from upcycled t-shirt yarn.
This fun event is at ReActon hub a Stirling Road, Acton. ReActon is a hub for the circular economy, providing a space for reuse and repair.
Directions
ReActon is on Stirling Road, next to Magenta Storage and opposite Stone and Ceramic Warehouse. We are a short walk from South Acton Mildmay overground Station and Acton Town Piccadilly and District station. There is limited street parking in the area. Please check the restrictions.
