RENT is playing at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London. Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking musical returns to the West End in a new production.

Inspired by Puccini’s La Bohème, RENT follows a generation living with joy, uncertainty and resilience as they try to make every moment count. The story centres on community and connection.

Thirty years after it redefined musical theatre, the show continues to resonate as a portrait of people supporting one another through difficult times. No day but today.

Before you book

Age guidance: recommended for ages 14+. The production contains themes of HIV/AIDS, bereavement, drug use, suicide, sex and sex work, as well as strong language, smoking, haze and strobe lighting.
