A Shakespeare reading group meets on 25 October 2026 at All Good Bookshop in London. Led by actor and director Chris Brosnahan, the session focuses on scenes from The Merchant of Venice. The event is free, with a full bar available.
Let's get our Shakespeare on. Each month, we read scenes from a play together and talk about them. Whether you're studying Shakespeare, a Shakespeare obsessive or just fancy the chat around it, you're welcome. Led by trained actor and director Chris Brosnahan. For the first month, we're going to do a play Chris just directed - The Merchant of Venice. There's plenty to talk about with this one, especially in 2026. So come along. Also, there'll be a full bard.... sorry, full bar available. It's a free event, although donations or buying drinks and books helps keep us alive!
