About Sinatra The Musical

Sinatra The Musical heads to the West End at the Aldwych Theatre from June 2026. Written by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro and directed and choreographed by Olivier Award-winning, three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall, it follows Frank Sinatra as a 27-year-old singer on New Year’s Eve 1942, ready to step on to the stage at New York City’s Paramount Theatre.

The story traces Sinatra’s rise as his voice captures a nation, alongside the strain in his personal life between his wife, Nancy, and Ava Gardner. When scandal and a hostile press put his career in difficulty, the musical follows the comeback that followed.

The show features more than twenty classic hits, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”.
