After the site has closed to the general public, you'll enter the stone circle for your private viewing — the most dramatic and atmospheric way to experience this ancient wonder.

Lacock — A Hidden Gem

Lacock is a little-known, picturesque village dating back to the Saxon era. Many of its beautiful buildings originally formed part of an extensive monastic complex and are now owned by the National Trust. The village is so picturesque it has provided the setting for many films and television dramas, including Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Enjoy a delightful walk before stopping for an optional breakfast or early supper at The George Inn, a 14th century classic country pub serving traditional British food.

Bath — A UNESCO World Heritage City

Next, you'll continue to Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture. During your panoramic tour, you'll be enchanted by the town's beautifully proportioned streets. Your guide will also offer an optional walking tour to show you the charming 17th century Sally Lunn tea room and the Jane Austen Museum, among other hidden treasures. See Bath Abbey and the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge, modelled on the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence. There's plenty of free time to visit Bath Abbey, or to shop and explore. You'll also have the chance to enter the magnificent Roman Baths (if upgrade option selected), where over one million litres of boiling water still rise from the hot springs every day, making it the best-preserved Roman spa from the ancient world.

Good to Know

The tour departs from Millennium Gloucester Hotel, 4–18 Harrington Gardens, South Kensington, London SW7 4LH, near Gloucester Road Underground Station (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines). Your guide will meet you at the hotel's casino entrance. As this is an early start, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time, as we're unable to wait if you're late due to the strict Stonehenge viewing time slot.

The tour concludes near Victoria Train Station.
