About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow is set in Hawkins, 1959, before the world turned upside down. It follows a regular town with regular worries, where young Jim Hopper’s car will not start, Bob Newby’s sister does not take his radio show seriously, and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and leave town.

When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family discovers that a fresh start is not so simple, and the shadows of the past have a long reach. The production is brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, using theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to tell an earlier chapter of the Stranger Things story.

Before you book

Age guidance: Recommended 12+. Under 5s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time, and you should arrive by 30 minutes before the start time. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
