About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow at Phoenix Theatre is set in Hawkins, 1959, where Jim Hopper’s car will not start, Bob Newby’s sister will not take his radio show seriously, and Joyce Maldonado wants to graduate and leave town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that starting again is not as simple as it seems.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to take audiences back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story.

Before you book

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. Please arrive 30 minutes before the performance, as latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.
