About Swan Lake Swan Lake at the London Coliseum brings Chile’s Ballet de Santiago to the UK for the first time, presenting Tchaikovsky’s classical ballet for one week only. Under the artistic leadership of César Morales, the company stages the story of Prince Siegfried, Odette and the struggle between love and the sorcery that threatens to keep them apart. This production follows Odette, a princess cursed to live as a swan by day, and the prince whose heart she captures. The ballet explores love, betrayal and devotion through the score, choreography, sets and costumes that shape one of the best-known works in the classical repertoire. Opulent sets, costumes and choreography are part of this staging, which is presented by a company described as having technical brilliance and powerful artistry.
