The Age of Change, in partnership with IBM
When innovation accelerates, change is both inevitable and constant. But how can organisations, societies, and individuals adapt with resilience?
The working world is the first major testing ground for AI integration. What is emerging, however, is the impact of hyper automation. So far, we have seen rapid cost reduction, significant gains in efficiency and improved data-handling.
By removing friction from the work day, future technologies will ensure demands are met without burning out essential teams on low-value tasks. This resilience must be continuous, not episodic. Healthcare is a prime example. AI-enabled systems could reduce NHS waiting lists by up to 10%. This would make a dramatic difference to the 7.7 million patients currently waiting for care. These changes will be seen across all sectors but has already begun to transform IBM’s very own HR, IT and procurement in their ‘Client Zero’ rollout. The future of work must find the right balance between being human-centred and AI-enable to ensure that change is innovative.
Join Conservative MP and former Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt live on September 24 at King’s Place to explore the importance of resilience when it comes to the transformational potential of future technologies.
