About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon is playing at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London. Winner of four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, this musical follows two Salt Lake City Mormons who are sent as missionaries to Uganda, where their plans for baptisms and conversions are met with harsh realities and a warlord.

Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the duo behind South Park, and featuring music by Robert Lopez, the show mixes sharp comedy with all-singing, all-dancing staging. It takes aim at Mormon dogma while also touching on consumerism and religion, with a reputation for being rude, offensive and unexpectedly endearing.

The Book of Mormon is 2 hours 30 minutes including an interval.

Before you book

This production contains strobe lighting, flashing lights, gunshots and explicit language. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and seated next to a ticketholder aged 18 or over. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre.

No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. Food or drink bought elsewhere cannot be brought into the theatre. Seating plans are not accurate representations of the auditorium, so customers with specific requirements should discuss these with the theatre before booking.
