About The Book of Mormon The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre is a musical created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the team behind South Park. It won four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, and follows two Salt Lake City Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda, where their plans for baptisms and conversions run into a very different reality. With music by Robert Lopez, the show mixes songs and comedy in a story that addresses religion, consumerism and the gap between expectation and reality. The production is described as rude and potentially offensive, and it has become known for its sharp humour and broad appeal. Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval. Before you book This production contains strobe lighting, flashing lights, gunshots and explicit language. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketholder aged 18 or over and seated next to them. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre.
