Paula Vaz Cudna is hosting her English Language book launch of her memoir 'The Wheels of Victory' at Loughborough University London

Drinks and nibbles will be served from 17:00 in the Ground Floor Atrium, we will then all move to 001 to hear from Paula herself and her guest speakers. Speakers will include Loughborough University London dean Prof. Aidan McGarry, Equans facilities manager Robert Hodge, ex-operations manager Deborah Bowen, Here East CEO Gavin Poole and Loughborough ex-Vice Chancellor Prof. Bob Allison CBE DL.

This will be followed by a book signing session in the Ground Floor Atrium.

The Wheels of Victory is Maika Vaz’s (Paula) deeply personal and inspiring memoir - a journey from childhood in Guinea-Bissau, through life-changing illness, years of hospital treatment and becoming a wheelchair user, to rebuilding her life in Portugal and later starting again in London.
