**October Group Hike \| Godalming to Guildford \| Sat 24 Oct** Autumn by the water 🍂 A gentle riverside walk along the River Wey from Godalming to Guildford, passing Guildford Castle with an optional pub stop at the end. **About this hike** A flat, easy walk along the River Wey. Expect water meadows, old locks, narrowboats and autumn colour. Ideal if you’re new to group hiking or just fancy a relaxed Saturday outdoors. **The route** From Godalming station we follow the river north through countryside towards Shalford, passing traditional locks along the way. In Guildford we head up towards the castle and its gardens, finishing in Guildford town centre with an optional pub stop.
