About the Film

Mission +200 tells the extraordinary true story of Tetiana, an ordinary Ukrainian woman whose life is transformed by Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Leaving behind her successful business career, Tetiana volunteers with a humanitarian recovery mission dedicated to bringing fallen Ukrainian defenders home to their families. Driving thousands of kilometres through active war zones, she transports the bodies of soldiers from frontline regions and devastated cities, undertaking journeys of up to 1,300 kilometres under constant threat and with little opportunity for rest.

Alongside this difficult work, Tetiana carefully photographs the fallen, helping grieving families identify their loved ones and bring them home with dignity. Each mission demands immense courage, emotional resilience and compassion, as she confronts both the realities of war and the personal toll it takes on those who refuse to look away.

More than a documentary about loss, Mission +200 is a powerful tribute to humanity, sacrifice and the extraordinary strength of ordinary people who choose to serve others in the darkest of times.
