Hear about its Saxon origins and Viking raids, Tudor and Stuart royal history as a hunting park and palace, through to its rapid acceleration in importance from the late 17th century until the 19th century.
We'll stop by the famous Greenwich Market, popular filming location the Royal Naval College and the Cutty Sark tea clipper on the way to Greenwich Park and the Meridian Line.
Royal Naval history and the architecture of Inigo Jones, Sir Christopher Wren and Nicholas Hawksmoor will feature throughout our walk, which concludes with a stunning view across Greenwich Park and the Thames.
