Enjoy a cheery Saturday afternoon crafting some decorations for your Christmas tree, no sewing experience needed.

Join us for a festive afternoon of creativity as we make our own felt Christmas decorations! Whether you fancy making something for your Christmas tree or a little decoration to brighten up your home, you'll have plenty of opportunity to get creative.

This is a relaxed, friendly space to get into the Christmas spirit, meet some other crafty locals and enjoy a little time making something by hand.

Who is this workshop for?

Anyone who fancies getting crafty for Christmas! No previous sewing experience is needed, and all abilities are welcome.

This isn't specifically designed as a children's workshop, but younger makers are welcome too. All children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What will you make?

We'll explore how to cut out and sew felt shapes together to create your own Christmas decorations.

You'll have the choice of hand stitching or using a sewing machine, depending on your preference and experience. If you've never used a sewing machine before, I'd recommend hand stitching for this workshop.

You can keep your decorations simple or get creative with more detailed designs and embellishments.

You'll likely have time to make 2–3 Christmas decorations to take home, depending on the designs you choose and how much detail you'd like to add.
