About This Event

A workshop to create needle-felted polar bear and badger Christmas decorations runs at Dunstable Library on 12 December 2026. Jackie Bennett teaches beginners how to form 2D and 3D shapes using provided wools and equipment. The session lasts three hours and allows time to start a second animal.

Join Jackie Bennett to learn how to create a beautiful needle-felted animal Christmas decoration

Price: £35

In this 3 hour workshop, Jackie will show you how to make a polar bear and hopefully there will be time to make a start on the badger, which can be finished at home (some may be able to finish both in the class).

They are both easy to make and are suitable for beginners and those with needlefelt experience.

Wools, equipment and instructions will be provided.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:-

Needle-felted 2D and 3D shapes

Attach shapes together

Add layers of coloured wools

Add details and finishing touches

Create a smooth and even finish
