OPOF book club meeting - The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton

The Our Planet Our Future Book Club is going to meet in pubs in Harpenden on Thursday evenings five times a year, from 7.30-9.30pm. The group has chosen books which we are very much looking forward to reading and discussing at the upcoming meetings:

3 December 2026 – The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton

Please try to read the book before the meeting.

NOTE: Please see eventbrite confirmation for the venue for the Book Club Meetings

We will discuss the books and the ideas that the book inspires us.

We encourage members to obtain books from the library (or borrow box), charity shops, or second-hand bookshops.

To join the group please email ourplanet@sustainablestalbans.org. We will also promote the dates via the Sustainable St Albans newsletter and the Our Planet Our Future page and Events Pages on the website.

Our Planet Our Future events

This bookclub is a spin off from Our Planet Our Future, our landmark series of events, talks and workshops at the Plough & Harrow (https://ploughandharrow.co.uk/), free to join with a regularly changing programme of lively and informed discussion on the latest eco-issues. Details about this programme can be found here (https://sustainablestalbans.org/get-started/our-planet-events/). Each session will consider a different theme of sustainability, action and preparation for the climate future. Details of our past events cen be found at sustainablestalbans.org/our-planet-our-future-past-events/ (https://sustainablestalbans.org/our-planet-our-future-past-events/)
