We are gathering in Manchester for an afternoon dedicated to the spirit of the Renaissance, focusing on the music, verses, and storytelling that defined the era. This is a chance for those of us who appreciate the aesthetics and history of the period to come together in a relaxed, informal setting. Whether you are a long-time enthusiast of historical literature or simply curious about the artistic traditions of the time, you will find plenty of common ground here. Expect an afternoon of shared readings and conversation, where we can explore the lyrical style and social themes that make Renaissance culture so enduring. We are keeping things low-key and conversational, so do not feel pressured to be an expert. This group is all about enjoying the company of others who share an interest in these creative traditions. If this sounds like your kind of afternoon, we would love to see you there, so please take a moment to RSVP so we can get an idea of numbers for the venue.
