Host

David Hoare PISEP Co-chair, North West Global Network, ISEP

David Hoare is a Chartered Environmentalist with over 24 years' experience in environmental consultancy. His experience relates to the environmental assessment and management of a wide range of projects including wind farms, pipelines, major infrastructure projects (motorway, trunk road and local authority road schemes in Wales, England and Scotland), gas storage facilities and mixed-use developments.

Sophie West MISEP Committee member, North West Global Network, ISEP

Sophie is a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Arup, a Design and Engineering Consultancy, with around 7 years of experience working in sustainability, primarily in the built environment, although recently branching into the rail industry. Her background is in strategy development and execution, focusing on climate change mitigation, behaviour change and transformation and financing sustainability action. In recent years, Sophie has broadened my skills to include climate change adaptation and resilience – pursuing an interest to understand more about how we live with and adapt to the changing climate. Sophie desire to work in sustainability comes from a passion to support those who generally don’t have a voice in society, and to stop cycles of poverty often exacerbated by climate change.
